Every individual has the right for education and it should develop their personality. Today knowledge is merely an information. Besides his / her growth in thoughts, emotions, responds, etc., he / she should be more mature in love and tolerence.

Rev. Everett Swanson started Compassion international in 1950 with 35 students. Today it is spread over 20 countries and 5 Lakhs students are their beneficiaries. They provide food, cloths, education and medicine. This organization co-operate with regional church in every places.

Caruna Bal Vikas is the part of Compassion International.Chennai is the head office of this organization. Ranny - Nilackal diocese has taken the initiative to support poor people and linked them with Caruna Bal Vikas. This diocese is the partner agent of this organisation. Although this organization grant financial support each student, we have to provide entire infra-structure of this programme. About 500 students, at the age of 3-12 get its facility and several people are willing to join with organization as a volunteer.

Volunteers are very carefull to nourish their spiritual life. Devotion and prayer life lead them to experience the love of Jesus Christ.

We conduct health care programm every year.Balanced diet, medical camp, health care classes are provided for them.

Parents meeting is conducted every month and discuss about their studies. Moreover, awareness classes, parents training meetings, vocational training are also included for thier parents.

3 projects has been taken by diocese which are Kattachira, Tavalappara, Kurumpanmoozhy.
